why-aren’t-my-staples-going-all-the-way-in-when-i-use-my-staplegun”-reason-3-not-keeping-the-

“Why aren’t my staples going all the way in when I use my #staplegun?” Reason #3: Not keeping the staple exit point flush to surface when firing. Many staple guns have a certain amount of kickback, but it’s very important to keep the staple exit point flush to the surface when pressing down the handle. Doing so allows the staple to drive further into the wood. However, depending on the staple gun used, it can take a considerable amount of grip strength to keep the staple gun flush. For example, our T50 Heavy Duty Staple Gun takes more grip strength to fire than our TacMate staple gun. If you’re struggling to minimize kickback when using your tool, a forward-action staple gun can be a big help. For pro applications, we recommend the PowerShot Advanced Professional Staple Gun or the PowerShot Forward Action Staple Gun & Nailer. For craft applications, we recommend the TruTac stapler.
